It oughta be a crime.

I've been so busy that I haven't actually played my Gamecube yet. Part of being too busy is too busy to go buy a memory card. Im also trying to design a t shirt. I have most of the pieces, but Im just trying to put them all together. Anyway, I'll let you know when I actually get to play my games...

Damn you mailman!

Well this package has to be picked up tomorrow because the sender paid for delivery confimation or something. I mean, we have drop boxes. COME ON! whatever. Im going bowling.

Its here!

Well, its not "here, here". The tracking info says that its in Carrboro, so it should be home when I get home. Unless they are dumb and wont leave it. But we have drop boxes for packages, so it should be good to go. Now, when the cold grip of lonliness seizes my throat in order to rob me first of happiness and then life, I'll at least have a video game or two I can numb the pain with.

It was nice to sleep well last night, and I worked out monday and tuesday not to mention I played ultimate last night too. Im a little tired, but I'll be ok. Just wanting to rant.

Well I was home visiting family this weekend. I saw my cute nephew, and my awesome dad. I saw everybody else too. Mom, sises, bros, cousins, aunts, uncles, gmas, you name it. Anyway, my nephew cody is just adorable, and slightly less bratty. My dad is still as awesome as ever. here are some photos of the weekend.

Reporting from suffolk

Hey there. Im in suffolk visiting the family and such. Please if you don't normally, visit this blog. Its the lamarocket link on the left. Its quite a riot. A quiet riot? Anyway, its pretty funny and I am partially responsible for it. Wherever two or more houseXor guys are gathered, hillarity ensues.

New song lyrics.

those doors wont open up for you. not now. not anymore. you're not the person that you used to be. you light a cigarette and say that it won't satisfy you like you just aren't satisfying me. What can I do what can I say to you to try and figure out whatever's on your mind I think theres somthing Im suposed to see. read me that open book that I've been waiting for so long you checked it out while checking out with me. what will I do what will I say? Been here before each and everyday. Know that they'll just run away. What will I do? what will I say? been here before each and everyday. Know that she'll just run away.

Running at TUNL

Not as much excercise as it may sound. I am at Duke this week, like I am every week, but this week our team has accelerator time. So... That means that I am at duke for the better part of many long hours for a few days. Yesterday I was here at 8:30 am and I left at midnight. Today I got to come in late, but I am sure that I will be here late too. Fortunatly, we are only running till tomorrow. I hope to see the new batman movie sometime soon. I suppose that there are a lot of things that I want to do, but that is the way it goes. peace out.
By the way, not that you care, but I will change the Song eventually.

What do we do when we fall off the horse?

We wait 3 months and then we get right back ON the horse. Tomorrow, with any perserverence, I will be at the gym in the morning, or perhaps the afternoon with much less perserverence. But I am going the the gym. And you can't stop me. Unless you are a tropical storm or something. Whats with all these text entries you ask? Just shut up then. Im not making you come here. just kidding. I am making you come here. Well, I am off to home. The Bible verse for the day is Judges 16:16.

Im dumb.

Subtle title. So as you may have read, I recently ran out of gas when I went to harrisonburg. Well today I ran my car out of gas again. This time while at home. I moved it into my yardish area so that I might wash it slightly with the hose, and did not have enough gas to move it back to the parking spot. No problem though. I have my scooter. That will get me from point A to point B. Unfortunatly, point B turns out to be half way up a hill... where my scooter runs out of gas. At least I got half way up the hill. I was on my way to a swing dance that turned out to be kinda lame. Too few people there. anyway, walked my bike for about a half mile to the station, and then later ran back to the station with my handy gas can. So my gas issues are resolved for now. Im just havin that kind of week. Let hope for new trends.

Correction:

I have gotten rid of my cable and internet bill today. However, I somehow recieve a very low signal here in my apartment (wireless) and the man came to take the cable box, but did not shut off the cable. Now, i don't have any tivo like equiptment, but still, I can't complain about free services. I hope I don't take for granted.

Aiee.

Last Night I went to a mexican resturaunt called Monterees or something like that. The food was nice, but the point of going was to speak in spanish and to brush up on my spanish. Mi Español esta muy malo. The problem is that I have a very written knowledge of the language, but not a good aural knowledge. What I really need is a tutor. Necesito un tutor de español. If you are reading this, and have any knowledge of spanish, (and... lets say... you are a cute girl too) then please offer to tutor me. Chupo a español.

I Canceled Cable and Internet today.

For everyone. So if you had any of these things, I am sorry. Its just too expensive, without roomate help, and the one that I split it with moved out, so its just not worth it to me. I figured it I got rid of the internet, That would make me more likely stay at school and I might get more work done. HA. I'll keep telling myself that. Anyway, I have it until saturday. Boo hoo.

Hail to me.

So today, the 80 degree blanket that smothered the triangle was temporarily pierced by a swift and heavy hail storm. I could hardly beileve my eyes as I saw the small bean sized chunks of ice hitting the ground alongside the fat droplets of rain. But, believe it or not it is true.
I, of course, had left my car windows cracked as there was no indication to me that it would rain today. At the first signs of rain I thought that i might go to my car to prevent the soaking of my car fabric. The rain came very suddenly as I waited for the bus to the lot i am parked in. I soon became soaked only to find that my windows were closed enough so that no real damage would occur, and as soon as I got back to the office, the rain stopped mostly. (sigh) I also had to deal with suncom people all morning in order to switch my SIM card. I pretty much have my replacement phone back up to how I like it, but I'm not happy about having a such a limited calling area. I like the cheap nationwide plans that cingular had. Suncom has two plans. Well, Im here most of the time, and my phone bill will be cheaper so that is a plus. But they made me do a 2 year agreement which sucks because someone will just buy out suncom and I will go through all of this again. Bleh.
This eveneing I went to go print out some pictures at Kinkos. I think that I might just buy a photo printer. Lots of friends got inexpensive ones that print nicely. Kinkos charges a lot, and crops the pictures without telling you. Boo kinkos.
Its kinda lonely this week now that Matt has moved out, and Kelby is gone for the week. Its funny how I feel like I don't see my roomates much, but when they are not there I notice it. Im keeping myself busy, and besides that I think that God is trying to teach me something . I'm pretty sure He always is, but this time I am trying to pay attention.
Peace out Y'all.

My Weekend.

By Charles Arnold.

Well, I will actually write all about this weekend, but I will show you my weekend in pictures first.

http://www.physics.unc.edu/~cwarnold/hburg2005

I'll write all about tonight probably.
UPDATE:
So here is the story. Friday I left work a little earlier in an attempt to beat the traffic, and made my way up to harrisionburg. I got there a little earlier than expected, so i met up with karen and kevin and heard a muslim woman from india talk about what is going on in india. It was quite facinating. She had surprisingly post-modern veiws of truth.
After all of that kevin karen and I went to Dave's Taverna. I had to ride with karen because my car had run out of gas upon reaching the meeting mentioned above. After Dave's, kevin took me back to my car. We thought that we'd be able to find a gas can, but alas, we could not. Rather, we didn't try to hard because option "b" was so appealing. Option "b" was for kevin to push my car with his car for about a mile down the road which was amazingly successful. It is too bad that I didn't take any pictures of karen or kevin save the picture of a kitten that karen is holding. It was a good night.
Though I had gone to bed late, I got up at about 8am and started my day. Ashley made pancakes and eggs. I began spreading my plan to go to reddish knob. I had never been there before, and I was told that it was a beautiful place to go. Fortunatly, Carbomb, and Jimmy showed up by noon so we all decided to get some lunch and then go to reddish knob. I took many pictures of the scenery which was quite beautiful, although did not display many in the collection above. I did show lots of pictures of us all up there hanging out. Anyway, it turned out to be a great time.
After all that, we got food in preparation for a grill out. Before the grill out I spent some time playing frisbee with olivia. She picked up on it quite quickly. The grilled bits were smoked sausage and burgers. We also had quite a selection of beer, as well as some wines as it was a celebration and all. After eating we played Donkey Konga which may be the most fun game ever. Your controler is a drum with two heads. You must hit the drums when the game tells you to. Simple yet awesome. After that we watched the pocket change DVD which got rave reviews. Then carbomb jimmy and I stayed up talking till 2 or so. We enjoyed some clove cigarettes over the course of the eveneing, and No, I didn't smoke 4 at once. Just pictures for fun. Finally, tuckered out, we went to a hotel for the night so that we might sleep in a bed, and give grov and ash some privacy.
In the morning, we got a few more pictures, and then I hit the road at about 11. Within 5 minutes, I was pulled over as pictured. The cop noticed that my plates had an expired sticker. He let me go once he verified that I was all good but just missing a sticker. About 30 minutes later, I discovered that the vibrating that had been plauging my car for the trip was due to a tire that was about to go bad which did in fact go bad as pictured. After a half hour of stuggling with terrible tools, I was fortunate to have another cop stop and lend me a good tire iron. Another half hour later I got my spare on, and made my way to Charlottesville to get a new tire. Thankfully there was a place that was open on Sunday that squezzed me in. So, about 2-2:30 I got back on the road 3 hours behind, with no way to make it to my Peru team meeting. Well, anyway I did make it back home with a little sunburn on my arm, and a bunch of great pictures and memories. The moral of the story is to do fun things with your friends.

Bluegrassroots

So tonight I am going to see steel string theory in Cary NC and you are not. Nanny Nanny Boo Boo. I will be sure to have some pictures and perhaps some video. I am also going out of town this weekend to see the old housexor guys. That should be... well... too hot for TV at the very least. You can expect some pictures that the internet might not be ready for, but too bad. Also look out for rising stars "METAL DETECTOR" featuring all the housexor guys playing guitar. That will shift paradigms and rock worlds.
