Correction:
I have gotten rid of my cable and internet bill today. However, I somehow recieve a very low signal here in my apartment (wireless) and the man came to take the cable box, but did not shut off the cable. Now, i don't have any tivo like equiptment, but still, I can't complain about free services. I hope I don't take for granted.

You'd better leave all that stuff on all day long just to make sure you don't take it for granted.
I was once told by Adelphia cable that if you watch the cable television, then you are illegally stealing, but if you call and tell them that the cable is on you have to pay them to come and put a block on the line so that you can no longer watch. In other words, you have to pay them to prevent you from accidently stealing their cable.
